When the flood hit Selangor recently, I remember people posting video clips of snakes, monitor lizards, tortoises and turtles swimming into the houses of some of the residents in Klang. There were crocodiles and of course fishes too in very unlikely places; and some took advantage of the situation by harvesting the latter. Elsewhere in Pahang, a pair of tapir were even found wading in the flood water. Tapirus indicus, the Malayan tapir which is found here and Sumatra is an endangered species. It would be delightful to bump into them.
Now, where's the tapir?
