Living in the countryside; seeing such animals like goats, cows and buffaloes was a norm and I wouldn't bat an eyelid even if a goat walks into the house to steal a bite. It is very different with the younger generation. When driving past a little town, the kids would get excited seeing these animals by the roadside. Somewhere near Kuala Lumpur, I remember vaguely coming across a place where people could pay to see goats, chickens and ducks and little bunnies. Most probably if one has not seen an animal; either picture or a live specimen, they would not be able to identify it; just like they would not be able to tell you its colour.
By the way, do you know the colour of a buffalo?
