Someone posted in Facebook a picture of an ugly black rat. Of course, it's the year of the rat but it's not just any rat but a metal rat. A gold or silver rat therefore is more appealing; more pleasant to look at; rather than the black Rattus rattus. Ditto the Starbucks mug and snow globe, both of which feature the rodent, I suppose, as a commemoration. The rat in the Facebook however reminds me of the late Michael Jackson's hit song, Ben which is the theme song of the 1972 movie of the same name; an American horror flick about a young boy and his pet; a rat of course. Animals, I suppose are rather inspiring and make the creative juice flow!
