If you have planted a cotton plant in your garden, you probably would harvest the cotton and after sometime would have a jar full of them. What would you do with the cotton, I wonder. Use them as cotton swab? Even then, there would be a lot more leftover that you are at a loss of idea of what to do with them. Then, luckily for me, I happen to have a friend who was keen in making a cushion cover. She probably could use the cotton as padding.
