No Cranes?

Was surprised to see a signage in the Lake Gardens depicting the different kind of birds found there. Didn't seem to see that before and decided to check it out. Was looking specially for the colourful hoopoe which attracted a lot of attention when a pair was spotted nesting in the area. Suppose being a non-endemic rare bird, it was not featured here. Then, went through all the white and almost white birds. There were egrets, storks and heron but no cranes. Fancy having thought the big, white, long legged birds at the lakes were cranes all this while.
