Didn't know whether to cry or laugh when one of the papaya trees in the garden by the drain started to bear flowers. Not sure too if it could be called a tree for it grew just past my knees. The bad news was just that the flowers were tubular and in clusters and they grew at the end of branching long stalks. These, I heard were male papaya flowers and since their pistils weren't functional, they could not bear fruits. What would you do in a case like this?
