Years ago, a lavender plant in a nursery caught my attention. Was surprised to find it there since lavender, I thought was a temperate plant. Grown extensively as ornamental plant or for use in culinary herbs in temperate countries, I had doubt it would survive here in the tropics. Yet, many times I saw it being sold locally and it was only recently that I felt the itch to get a pot. The pot I received in the post smelled great and looked fresh and beautiful when it arrived but it withered a little a day later. Watered it and three days later it looked like a drag. Now, where did I go wrong? 🤔
