The Chilli Bears Fruits!

Suppose growing chilli from seeds does not require such elaborate steps as suggested in the Net: sowing the seeds indoors on top of moist seed compost in seed trays and covering the seeds with a fine sprinkling of vermiculite. In a tropical country especially, there is no need for a propagator set at a temperature of 18-25C. When a chilli bought from the market started to rot; instead of throwing it all away, I had the seeds removed and had simply sprinkled them on a pot filled with earth in the gardenn. The chilli has already bore fruits! I read that from sowing to the time a chilli plant bears fruits, it will take about 80 to 120 days. Didn't realise such a long time has passed!
