Anti-cat Scents

The neighbour's cat has been pooping in the garden for a few days in a row. That, I would like to put an end to; and I read, it would do good to scatter scents that they don't like such as lavender, peppermint or cinnamon; citrus too. Citrus is a genus of flowering plants and shrubs that produce citrus fruits; the likes of lemons, grapefruits, pomeloes, limes and oranges. Oranges has been abundant during this festive season; maybe the peels could be put to good use.
