That logging is good for tigers is said to be backed by the finding of wildlife experts who based on the number of sightings of tigers in selectively logged areas, concluded that the population density of tigers was 30% higher than the highest estimate stated in an earlier study conducted at a protected forest. Never mind if you take this with a grain of salt; thinking perhaps that more tigers ought to be sighted in logged areas where the natural habitats have been destroyed, giving an impression that there are are more tigers there.
