Sweet potatoes are easy to grow; so, wasn't really thrilled about the article on how to propagate this hardy tropical plant which is said to be a relative of the morning glory. Don't expect to see them flowering profusely like the purple morning glory though. They can produce flowers, I read; but rarely; and as far as I remember, the one in the garden hasn't produced any flowers and I haven't really seen the flowers of sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes can easily be planted using cutting. Usually, I'll just dig a hole and bury a cutting; and voila, a recently planted one which has been left unattended for weeks obviously is flourishing.
