Thought I had a pineberry the other day; that's a white strawberry. There are however about 50 different varieties of white strawberries. A pineberry is just another variety; smaller than the common strawberry and reportedly, tastes like a pineapple and is sweeter too. The strawberry which my niece ordered online from Cameron Highlands were white and and have red seeds but they didn't come near to taste like a pineapple. Suppose they were just another white strawberry; the White Jewel Strawberry even; which first came out on the market and became one of the most popular. White strawberry isn't a common sight in Cameron Highlands yet, I suppose.
