My little grandniece bought a little pot of rose from Cameron Highlands once. Roses are woody perennial flowering plants of the genus Rosa and there are over three hundred species; mostly native to Asia. They are grown for their beauty but the little pot of rose from Cameron Highlands wasn't exactly a beauty. I remember my grandniece chose a pot full of buds which when transferred home, failed to bloom. When it began blooming again later, the yellow roses were small and sparse; and they weren't even fragrant. I have seen prettier yellow roses.
