Pretty Drain

Many years ago, I remember the drains in the neighborhood used to be filled with lots of guppies. Heard they were introduced there during the colonial times when the British were in power. The guppies had disappeared a long time ago; sometimes I thought as as a result of people catching them to feed their meat eating fish pets. At least once I saw a man doing that and I even imagine them selling the guppies as feed to pet shops. No guppies in the drain now and in the drain outside, there is besides the wild Dryopteris or wood ferns,  hey, there is a Syngonium, the arrowhead plant from the garden by the drain. It's indeed a pretty sight!
