The Orchid Bloomed Again!

It was a joy when the sole orchid in the garden bloomed again. I happened to see a posting in Facebook yesterday; a pretty lady posed with her orchid and  expressed her happiness at coming home to find it blooming. Hers was the eye catching Cattleya, a genus of orchids from somewhere around Costa Rica or Argentina but the one in the garden; well, the flowers are purple and small and I don't even know its name. Nevertheless, it brought utmost joy especially when it bloomed again even without any prodding. I read somewhere to make an orchids rebloom, you ought to make sure it has enough sunlight but not too much to burn it. The temperature must also be right and the food must have a high phosphate content.
