Yesterday When I Was Young was a big hit when American singer Roy Clark sang it. Charles Aznavour and Georges Garvarentz wrote the song back in 1964 and after Roy Clark, many more famous Western singers including Shirley Bassey, Glen Campbell, Dusty Springfield and Andy Williams performed and recorded the song. The first time I heard the song however was when a friend played Taiwanese singer Chyi Yu's 1988 album, Whoever Finds This I Love You 誰撿到這張紙條 我愛你. Yesterday When I Was Young, I just found out originally was a French song called Hier Encore which means Yesterday Again.
