Such a Useful Plant!

Mexican mint Coleus amboinicus; I've always known this plant from the mint family as po ho; the Malays called it pokok lemuju or pokok bangun-bangun; and I've always known this to be a remedy for cough; just take one or two raw leaves or make tea out of it.  Readers in the Net however, surprise me when they reveal how they use it: Some plant it in their garden to keep away mosquitoes and cats while some others use it in preparing the gravy of spaghetti and various other dishes. The plant is even said to be able to remove phlegm as well as a remedy for flatulence, indigestion, flu and fever, stomachache and headache. I'll keep that in mind!
