Never underestimate the beauty of clouds; that blob of water vapour in the atmosphere. See its luminance and brightness change as it reflects, scatters and transmit light. In the afternoon, clouds could just be white as sunlight cannot penetrate far into it due to the densely packed particles of water. The amounts of water on reaching an extremely high level however could lend the clouds a greenish or bluish tint. Then, when the sun is just below the horizon, the clouds could appear in a myriads of colours; the low-level clouds, gray ; middle clouds, rosy and high clouds, white or off-white. In Dongchuan Redlands, China; we woke up early to see the sunrise but were rewarded instead with billowing clouds!
