So turmeric is a flowering plant; I'd just found out when I took a stroll in the garden. And it could grow quite tall too; to about 3 feet. For the past years, tumeric has been grown in the garden but it has always been thin and small. This is the first time that I've seen it grow to such height and bearing a pink inflorescence too. It was really a pleasant surprise!
