Capsicum is capsicum and chilli is chilli, I suppose; I always get confused with the two especially when the kids at home started telling me that capsicum is chilli. Both originate from Mexico and are peppers, that's for sure. There are at least 25 types of peppers; capsicum and chilli most certainly being two of them. During the stay at home period of the COVID-19 pandemic, my niece bought some capsicums. They came in red, green, yellow and orange and looked so pretty when left near the sink that I thought they would serve as a great subject for nature morte; still life painting, that is. Long time since I last paint. Sigh!
