I don't know If a tomato is a fruit or a vegetable but I read that Chinese in Taiwan and China have them stir-fried with eggs. Tomato plant, scientifically known as Solanum lycopersicum is not native to China. The species comes from western South America and Central America. The other day I was looking up recipes, wondering how else are they cooked ;besides being made into soups or salads. My niece's friend from Cameron Highlands had given her a box of tomatoes you see; and I thought maybe, she should bake them or roast them. Bless her; she gave bags and bags away to friends and relatives.
