How about practising vertical farming in your garden? Growing plants in vertically stacked layers sounds like a great idea ever since Dickson Despommier, professor of Public and Environmental Health at Columbia University came up with the idea in 1999. Vertical farming is said to save land spaces and increases plant yield but I was just thinking about planting some flowers or vegetables in a little area like the balcony of a high rise apartment.
