Sometimes, I wonder if flower pots are necessary. Flowering plants, when they bloom do look fantastic even when they are planted in the ugliest of pots; plastic bags, too. When buying new plants from the nursery, they always come in black polythene bags. The plants would be replanted in new pots and the polythene bags thrown away each time even when they are still in good condition. That contributes a bit to pollution, don't you think?
