A Plant from the Wild

Senduduk Putih Melastoma decemfidum supposedly grow wild. Someone said one grew on its own in her backyard. I suppose the wind must have blown its seed from somewhere. Then, she wondered if the leaves could be eaten. As far as I know, the white flowers could be used to make tea which functions to lower the cholesterol level. The matured leaves have to be pounded with fresh tumeric and added with water to be drunk to treat stools with blood as well as diarrhea.
