What do you think of when you listen to the chorus of the British songbird Karen Young's song, Nobody's child?
I'm nobody's child, I'm nobody's child
Just like a flower I'm growing wild
No mommy's kisses and no daddy's smile
Nobody wants me, I'm nobody's child…
Just like a flower I'm growing wild
No mommy's kisses and no daddy's smile
Nobody wants me, I'm nobody's child…
For me, I inadvertently think of weeds. Weeds are defined as any wild plant that grows in an unwanted place, in a garden or field; and they most certainly could produce beautiful flowers as I discovered in the drain and by the roadside; little, little weeds which produce little, little flowers; all lovely nevertheless!
