Are calabash flowers yellow or white? I remember very well that my neighbour's calabash plants bore yellow flowers; but there was a time too that they bore white flowers. Calabash flowers can be yellow or white, I suppose; depending on their species and they probably could be eaten too! People in the Mediterranean reportedly stuff the calabash flowers with flavoured breadcrumbs or ricotta cheese and have them sautéed or fried.
