Stories of cities of gold have long mesmerised people in the west. El Dorado. Quivira. Paititi. La Canela. They are all cities of gold. The latest American adventure film based on the long running American educational animated TV series created by Chris Gifford with a title like Dora and the Lost City of Gold, therefore sounds so old fashioned. The film has Isabela Moner playing the title role, Dora, tricked into following the tracks of her parents to where else but a city of gold called Parapata. It is a simple, predictable but fun movie nevertheless. You can treat the young ones on their day out!
