Another Piece of Meat

Imagine eating insects! Entomophagy or the practice of eating insects is a widespread affair, I suppose. Since ancient time, eggs, larvae, pupae, and adults of certain insects have been eaten by humans. Presently, eating insects is uncommon in North America or Europe but some 2 billion people elsewhere in Central and South America, Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand are insect consumers. I've seen insects being sold as food in markets in Thailand and Cambodia and was really surprised to see the same products being sold in Kunming, China. In the Western world, some companies are trying to introduce insects as food just like UN is encouraging people to eat insects. After all, they are highly nutritional, being packed with protein, fiber, good fats, and minerals and are effective in combating obesity. Then, of course, even if insects piss you off, you can't deny insect meat is just another piece of meat.
