We have the first strawberries in the supermarkets now but they are more similar to poison in this period. Who knows where you can finish if they kiss you in this times...

Poison? Sour? We have strawberries here in the highlands, in Cameron Highlands and I think, it's the whole year round. They are not as big as the one in Egypt, not so sweet too but you can get nice strawberry ice creams and jams as well as preserved straberry up there.

You know it too that everything that is forced to make flowers or fruits out of the season is nutrished with fertilizers. Gardeners use special fertilizers that are more powerful. So, more the fruit is out of the season, more its full with fertilizers of all sorts.

So, I said just somewhere, excuse me if repeat it: when my mother fried the carrot in oil, the oil became orange, when I fryed carrot yesterday, the oil remained so as it was. The carrot was big and beautiful, but it had not caroten inside, it had only fertilizers.

If you remember the taste of cabbage-soup that your mother made for you, the cabbage had special cabbage-taste. The cabbages I buy in the supermarket today have not cabbage-taste. They have not taste at all.

They say, when you buy a fruit, you have to see if it has a worm. The worm is not stupid, it doesn't eat fertilizzers... ;)))

Mmm... the price you pay for nice looking fruits and vegetables! Over here, I heard someone saying the same too; when buying vegetables , look for the one with holes; that means the worms have eaten them. Yes, they won't eat veggies with chemicals. They have brains!
