Why Are Hamsters Useful?

These omnivorous rodents belonging to the subfamily Cricetinae, are easy to breed in captivity, and are therefore often used as lab animals and kept as pets too. They are conveniently useful to human beings, don’t you think? If you are hamster then, maybe, it’s time to fight back!

Hamsters were useful in the house about 30 years ago, when the floors were from wood. If your hamster went away,there were assicured holes in the floor. Maybe it's so with carpets today.

We have to buy hamsters from pet shops here. They are not natives to this country.
