Have been thinking of pruning the pomelo tree in the garden before it grows big and unmanageable. Went to have a peep at the tree and lo, there was a bird nest there and a mother bird was sitting in it. I think it was a merbok, a species of the dove family native to Southeast Asia. Has to put the pruning on hold.
