You may have heard and like Celine Dion's version of The Power of Love more; but the singer only recorded the song in the 90s. The Power of Love was first recorded by American singer Jennifer Rush in 1984 in Frankfurt, Germany. The song was a hit in UK and some European countries and it was Celion Dion's version which took the number one spot in US. Celine Dion currently isn't in good health. In 2022, she disclosed that she had stiff-person syndrome, a neurological disorder affecting her muscles.
