Overripe

There was a time when the garden was overgrown with the bitter gourd plant. The bitter gourd were of the small variety and often, they grew matured unnoticed. Then, one would see  yellow bitter gourds which had burst open, revealing red seeds. These seeds would fall and later germinate.
