Just love the smell of daun kesum. Daun kesum is an essential ingredient of assam laksa; so much so that they are labelled daun laksa; Malay for laksa leaf. Without the shredded leaves of kesum, assam laksa would definitely not be as fragrant. By the way, you wouldn't confuse curry laksa with assam laksa, would you?
