Outside my window, it was blue and red; blue because of the bunga telang and red because of the cypress vine. The cypress vine is a beautiful fast-climbing annual which bears red trumpet-shaped flowers which end with a five point star; and that, I suppose is why it is also called the star glory. The leaves of the cypress vine have many long, deep lobes which make them look feathery and are themselves an attraction. There are pink and white versions of the flowers, I read; but so far, I've only seen red ones. Probably, the pink and white versions could be found in their native land in northern South America.
Can you spot the blue and red outside my window?
