Almost five weeks into staying home and not being able to visit a barber, my hair is growing long and wild, like an unkempt garden; but it's not going to be anywhere near Rapunzel's. It's only in fairy tales that hair grows that long. Just not too long too, there was a report that very soon the people would be allowed to visit the barbers as several businesses including those which involved hair salon would be allowed to operate. During this MCO where social distancing is the word on everyone's lips, the idea definitely drew flaks; never mind that the idea came from a top minister. In Wuhan, people only queued up for the barbers after lockdown. A supporter of the minister, a doctor at that; was all for that, citing that the New England Journal of Medicine recommends haircuts as a way to reduce high blood pressure. Forget social distancing. I'm going to believe that some doctors believe all that they read is the gospel truth. Or is it my long and unkempt hair that is raising my pressure? Hmm... mm...After such a long time being locked at home, I do really itch to take a stroll in our Taiping Lake Gardens...it's a surefire for lowering the pressure...Let's just take a virtual walk!
