What's in the Drink?

What's in the drink? Jujube of course and goji berry. Both are very favoured by the Chinese who also add them into their soup. Jujube is also known as the Chinese date while goji berry or wolfberry is simply gǒuqǐ 枸杞. The latter is produced commercially in China; so, I've thought they grow in temperate countries and couldn't grow in a tropical country; not until I found one being sold in the local nursery. The plant has purplish flowers, rather inconspicuous; and I had mainly bought it because of their prized bright red fruits. They are supposed to be loaded with vitamin A, good for the eyes definitely; and has a host of other benefits such as protecting one from cancer and liver damage and so on. The plant I bought, unfortunately did not survive.
