Didn't see any orange caterpillar with black spikes the other day when the adeniums in the garden lost their leaves. Was sure though that the adeniums were attacked by caterpillars. Oleander caterpillars Syntomeida epilais jucundissima are known to attack dessert roses but the one that I had caught was a green one. Some said that when attacked by caterpillars, it is advisable to prune the infested leaves; freeze them in a sealed plastic bag for a day, and dispose them in the trash. I didn't even get to prune the leaves. They were already all gone when I checked on them. 😬
