Babe may be a term of endearment but some people would not be caught with a pig in their hand, would they? It is not simply that pigs sometimes harbor parasites and diseases such as trichinosis, cysticercosis, and brucellosis but some religion like Judaism and Islam consider pigs as unclean and ought not to be eaten.
