This is the theory of evolution!

The theory of evolution is often associated with Charles Darwin, the English naturalist who was of the opinion that all species of life have descended over time from common ancestors, publishing his theory in his 1859 book, 'On the Origin of Species'. You would be led to believe that human beings originate from the apes or perhaps, could it be the other way round, that apes originate from human beings?

I scratch your back, you scratch my back.

That's an idiom which means, 'You do me a favor, I'll do you a favor'. It's very different from 'tit for tat', the English saying which means some kind of retaliation in kind. It's nicer to scratch another's back and be scratched in return then.

 In the Buddhist text, it is stated that if a person were to carry his father on his left shoulder and his mother on his right shoulder and then to circumambulate Mount  Sumeru, he would still not have repaid the kindness of his parents. You'd not think a person would do just that - carry his parents round even in the vicinity of his own house. That's especially when in a boating accident in Dianbu River in China'sAnhui province, a 28-year-old man chose to save his wife from drowning first over his 52- year-old  mum. In another part of China, in Sanniang Bay, off Qinzhou City in Southern China, strangely, a dolphin was spotted carrying its calf on its back.The little dolphin had gashes across its belly and was believed to have been dead for two or three days. Animal a dolphin may be, but it would have you believe in the kindness of parents. Mount Sumeru, by the way is the name of the central world-mountain in Buddhist cosmology often used as a simile for size and stability…
