Gulp! I am dead meat!
Be a 'dead meat' is not to be dead. One is more to be in serious trouble. 'Double-dead meat' however, has to do with a dead pig. It is the Filipino appellation for meat taken from a pig that has died of disease and cut up for sale. Its sale, of course, is against the law.
