Yes, I am the Penguin but I am not the gentleman of crime!



You may be reminded of the Penguin introduced by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger. Well, that's the DC Comics supervillain and one of Batman's oldest and most persistent archenemies. The Penguin in this case is a short, round man known for his love of birds and his specialized high-tech umbrellas and he fancies himself a "gentleman of crime".

Animal Talk: Heads!

There has been a report of a two-headed snake being studied by zoologists at the University of Valencia in Spain. If two heads make your head dizzy, five heads would surely make it spin. A friend sent me a photo of a five-headed snake said to be found near a Hindu temple in the small rural village of Subramanya near Mangalore, Karnataka, India. The temple called Kukke Subrahmanya is where the lord of all serpents, Lord Subrahmanya is worshipped. Interesting, isn't it?
