Athletes stretch deliberately but animals stretch instintively. Stretching has good effects. For athletes, it is said to improve their performance and reduce injury. So now, everybody - Stretch!

Now you see me, Now you don't!

Now you see me, Now you see don't!

That sounds like a Chipsmore commercial, isn't it? Now you see me, now you don't. Some animals are just lucky to be able to change their colours as they please. You wouldn't want a friend like that though, would you?

Such a beautiful bird and a beautiful mother! Does this picture reminds you of Mother's love or perhaps the 1989 British TV masterpiece starring Diana Rigg and David McCallum ?

Seeing eye to eye!

Seeing eye to eye!
The expression 'Seeing eye to eye' , said to have appeared in the Bible (Isaiah 52:8). [c. 1600], means 'to agree with someone'. That's not an easy to do, don't you think?

Plant Talk: Eat your apple!

Image
Malus domestica or apples grow wild in the mountains of Central Asia in Kazakhstan, Krygzztan, Tajikistan and Xinjiang, China. They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away and why not? First, the fruit, a great source of fibre keeps the bowel clean and they say, it contains lots of phytochemicals which act very much like anti-oxidants. Then, besides keeping the doctor away, eating apples regularly purportedly keeps away wrinkles and fine lines. That goes to say you can have your apple and eat it too!

Barbed wires remind me of Hitler, the man who after being appointed a chancellor in January 1933, started the first concentration camps in Germany. Concentration camps are camps in which people are detained or confined, usually under harsh conditions and without regard to legal norms of arrest and imprisonment that are acceptable in a constitutional democracy. Dogs would have run away from them too! Inside a concentration camp...

Talking about Parasites!

Parasitism is a symbiotic relationship between organisms of different species . One organism, the parasite, benefits at the expense of the other organism, the host. Talking about parasites, you would see them everywhere!

I am over the edge!

I am over the edge!

' Over the Edge' sounds more like the name of a film and you're right. Jonathan Kaplan's movie which stars Matt Dillon, received negative publicity and had a limited theatrical release but had since become a cult favourite.

Chin-up!

Chin-up!

A chin is a strength training exercise that targets the latissimus dorsi, that's the broadest muscle of the back. Move over, Jack Lalane and chin-up, everyone! You'd get to live to a ripe old age like the American fitness guru!

Hello, Beauty!

Trust Hans Christian Andersen to come out with the story of the ugly duckling. A duckling can never be ugly at all!

Do we remind you of Macbeth?

Do we remind you of Macbeth?

We would if you have just watched the first act of William Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' and have seen amidst the thunder and lightning, the Three Witches...the first of whom, hails Macbeth as "Thane of Glamis", the second as "Thane of Cawdor", and the third proclaims that he shall "be King hereafter"... What a tragedy!
